Medical Mission International sends mission teams to Togo, West Africa.
We are now focusing our ministry efforts in Togo, West Africa. You can join us! Each project lasts two weeks – see below for more information.
In Togo, we offer both medical consults and wound care assessments in the bush. At the end of the project, those having a chronic wound are invited to come to our Center to receive continued care. All consults and treatments are free since most of these villagers are extremely poor and family often abandon them because they have become a financial burden for them. In Togo, one has to pay to receive health care services.
Your Time In The Bush
Our teams camp in villages, where we hold the project. Tenting in the village allows us to live the full trans-cultural experience and save us a lot of time by not traveling long distances to and from the site every day. It also allows us to see more patients.
Your Time At “La Maison Bethesda”
You will also have the opportunity to go to Maison Bethesda to rest, attend (or observe) the treatments given by the Nationals who have been trained to do the treatments.
